Project Bronco Blog 2
Part 1:
The
four institutions of my society include religion, government, education, and marriage.
The population of Project Bronco believe in a creator that brought life to us.
They believe that the creator is the force of life, the power to create and
destroy. Temples of worship located through-out the base allow everyone to
worship and give thanks to the giver and taker of life. Within a temple, a
ceremony of worship consist of uniform pews where all programs connect their
data ports in order to receive downloads of various information pertaining to
living a positive, productive, moral, and healthy life span.
Once
all ports are connected, judges are present to maintain order and safety for
all those attending and officiating in the mass. The 10 guardians enter the
temple worship room in a uniform line with hoods on and arms crossed showing no
skin. They are all dressed in lavish suede robes, which depict the symbols of our
culture particular the creation vault. These robes are embroidered with these
symbols in various colors. Once on stage the guardians begin to upload the
various scriptures for the ceremony to the data ports and allow the programs to
download. Once the mass has ended the guardians give thanks to the creator and
hold a silk white and black cloth with the symbol of creation embroidered in
gold. Following after the guardians, the worshipers are released.
As
the Alpha male, when I was first created and programed; it was my duty to
create a system or government in order to help maintain the society. When the guardians were created one by one it
was my duty to create just and moral programs whose sole duty is to help
efficiently progress the society. As each guardian is created I enter the vault
and cover each of their body. Being the first to welcome them into this world
is a privlage because I am the Alpha male. Covering each guardian in a gold robe
symbolize purity, morals, respect, and strength. On the back of this robe, the
symbol of the all mighty creator are embroidered. I then place an olive leaf in
their left hand for peace and pour olive oil in their right. The oil represents
being equal, hence the equal thickness and consistency. As the guardian exits
the vault I connect them to the data port and begin uploading the various laws
and procedures to begin producing our civilization. After synchronizing has
been completed the process begins again with another gaurdian.
As
each individual program is created, they are given knowledge on work specific
jobs which entail a specific duty to the society in order to survive and be
productive. As each program is created the guardians and I oversee what
programs are priority in order to ensure a smooth construction phase. The
inaugural 100 created were born individually and greeted by the guardians and me,
being draped in a white robe symbolizing new life. As each new born is created
they are connected to a data port where they are uploaded with job specific
knowledge in order to share for the greater good of the community. With the
knowledge of the first 100, they are able to educate and help those in the
liminal process of a coming to age ritual. The knowledge shared allows for the
expansion of good skills.
After working for their employer
for the past 9 years you are allowed by the Alpha and the guardians to find a mate.
Once both programs are actively willing to settle down with each other and are
willing to start a life together, they are required by the Alpha to submit a
request form to be approved by the guardians. The guardians will review whether
or not the couple applying for the form are best suited due to the possibility
of a family in the future. After review by the guardians a judge is sent to the
couple in order to bring them to the marriage chambers. Here the individuals
are connected to data ports which will determine if they are compatible. If compatible,
the couple is then escorted to a room where the marriage ceremony will take
place.
As the guardians, a handful of judges and the Alpha
male are present dressed in all white gowns with rope tied in friendship knots
symbolizes the beginning to the future with love having no boundaries. The guardians
stand in a circle wearing their white robes, knots in hand. The marriage chamber
is lit by candle light and has stone columns that are as tall as the eye can see.
As the couple are escorted by two judges one dressed in a black robe, and the
other dressed in a white robe symbolize life and death. The couple kneels at my
feet and I ask them a series of questions pertaining to their relationship and
their life’s and if they accept each other as mates. The couple connects to
data ports where there serial numbers are linked by the judges in order to
classify the marriage relation. Once all questions are answered satisfactorily
and all data has been downloaded, the Alpha concludes the marriage process by
placing his hand on each of the heads of the couple and wishes them the best in
what lies ahead.
Marriage is between a couple who
have surpassed the liminal stage of coming to age. That process of being able
to take care of oneself efficiently and the ability to teach oneself knowledge to
others to learn. As soon as the couple leaves the chambers, the one hour
process is concluded.
The purpose of any of these rituals
is to accomplish the transfer and evolution of knowledge in order for our
civilization to survive and prosper. These rituals symbolize simplicity and
morality, that there is life along with death, religion and the concepts that
are far greater then themselves.
Part 2:
Birth-
During ones birth the ten guardians along with me the Alpha are present during
the creation process. Before the creation or birth of another artificial being
the guardians, the head judge and I come together in a sacred chamber
consisting of 12 chairs and a long table where we review who is to be created
and if their specific purpose for creation. This sacred chamber is where all
cycles of life are reviewed, from birth, coming to age, marriage to death all
is reviewed and approved. As the list of
creation is reviewed, we the overseers create in priority of the programs which
have substantial importance. As we conclude the importance of each being we all
finalize the list of 100 creations per day.
After final review of the list we
conclude our meeting and proceed to the dress chamber where all change to our
ceremonial attire consisting of a long two tone half black and half white suede
robe which symbolizes coming from the darkness of nothing, to the light of
being created and born. As the guardians, judge and I proceed from our changing
chambers to the creation vault room we walk up to the vault where those who
have been created before have created a shrine of flowers which symbolize all
that lives, dies; in order to give tribute to the almighty designer. As we
gather around the vault of creation we name off each program that is created
along with its specific job. As we circle the vault I turn on the main power
switch and the vault illuminates in light. With the switch turned to the on
position it’s as if a halo of light is suspended above the vault. It is the judge’s
sole responsibility to upload the serial number and program, it is then verified
by two guardians and myself. Once information is verified we proceed to press
the creation button. Within 5 minutes of excessive dimming lights, sparks, and
loud noises a program is formed. Once the red light has turned green, the process
has completed. The judge calls for two more judges to remove the newly created
intelligence from the vault for the safety of those in the creation room.
When the programs are created there
is a chance with each birth that a program can be infected with a virus or malware,
and have to be de-resolution. Once the program is taken from the vault and
plugged into the data port to verify program/trait information. His port is a
diagnostic port which reads the various codes determining malfunctions or
problems the program may encounter. Once the port has been fitted to the back
of the skull and tested by the head judge, all gaurdians participate in the
uploading of the rules and regulations of our civilization. Once the head judge
authenticates the laws, the newly created is then matched with parents that
have similar occupational programs. Once suitable parents are found for the
newborn, it is issued traits and characteristics of the new parents. As the
child develops it takes on the traits and characteristics of its parents. The
final process is authenticating the individual’s codes and characteristics
along with making sure all intelligence is up to date and ready for
downloadable content. When verified, the new born is taken from the room draped
in a white cloth symbolizing birth. Once out of the birthing chamber, judges
are then required to deliver the newborn to the parents.
After deliverance to the parents,
the birthing rite is completed and it is now the responsibility of the parents
to educate the child with information pertaining to their specific duty until
their coming to age cycle. The reason this rite is performed by the guardians,
judges and myself is to create as perfect a civilization as possible. We the
people want the smartest, strongest, brightest and most efficient programs in
our civilization.
Coming of age-
During the coming of age life
cycle, it has been solely the parent’s responsibility to prepare and educate
their child to perform their specific duties to their best of their ability. (Seperation)Once the child has reached the
age of 16 years old, it is the child’s responsibility to leave home and venture
out into the workforce and contribute to society. It is the child’s
responsibility to find a job that is within their specific skill and develop
more skills to be self-sustainable. Once the child has found a suitable job, it
will be housed in the workforce housing projects where they will live and learn
until the age of 21. During those 5 years of schooling and training by highly
skilled artificial intelligence programs, these children are once again going
through a liminal stage with others
who are also participating in this same ritual regardless of specific traits.
Once the child has reached the age of 21 it is finally able to take its final
test of work genre related skills and determine the total amount learned.
This final test is created and distributed
by the guardians to ensure that that all 21 year olds are able to take the
test. If students do not pass the final test, they have 1 more chance before
they will have to spend three more years continuing their education. Once the final
test is reviewed by judges and guardians the individual will then be informed
by the judges whether it’s a pass or fail. For the ones that passed their test,
they have surpassed a liminal
stage and have the ability to work full time and earn income for their duties. (Reincorporation)Working until the
age of thirty will be preparing individuals for the next cycle in their life.
Marriage-
(Separation)

Death- In the death life cycle, once a programs function
has ceased its mate is required by law to report the death to a judge. Once a
judge has been notified, they take a detailed statement and send it along with
the deceased program to be analyzed by judges in the de resolution chamber. During
this process of this liminal stage, the de resolution chamber is the final
process of the life cycle. This is where programs are taken in order to determine
malfunction, read port data, and finally destroy due to outdated software. Once a judge has determined the cause of malfunction,
they then collect the data from the program in order to upload data into the
bases data main frame to add data that was achieved from the program throughout
its life span. Once data has been collected, the deceased is then placed within
an incinerator in order to be de resolution and remains released into the atmosphere
by a judge. Once the remains of the program have left the gloves of the judge,
the death life cycle is complete.
